Meet the Team

At DCMARINE we are constantly developing our team to expand and provide the best possible service - we are grateful to our hardworking passionate team who share the collective vision for perfection.

  • As part owner and director of DCMARINE Dylan has studied marine engineering and boatbuilding before spending a carrier in commercial port work and the super yacht industry. DCMARINE began as a a culmination of skills and passion developed through this previous experience. Outside of work, Dylan spends his time on the water sailing or in the outdoors with his family.

  • As part owner and engineering manager of DCMARINE Will has studied as a fitter turner and hydraulics engineer. With a background in all things engineering William is an integral part of the DCMARINE management structure and blends a passion for boating with a deep understanding of marine engineering systems. On the weekends Will is either working on a personal engineering project or spending time with his family.

  • Troy has spent his carrier as an engineer and skipper in both the local and international super yacht industry. His varied knowledge and attention to detail make him a go to for high end finish work and complex engineering projects. Troy manages our commercial vessel as well as acting as skipper. In the wild your likely to find Troy involved in some form of fishing related activity, from a boat, beach or riverside.

  • A wise boatbuilder - Nick brings years of knowledge to the team from his background building, sailing and repairing all manner of vessels from large commercial ships, to bespoke classics. Leading our boatbuilding division he is a source skill we are privileged to have onboard. Nick has a keen obsession with the outdoors and spends his time either in the mountains or sailing his yacht.

  • Qualified as a fitter turner, Denver has a long history of employment in the local commercial industry. He has worked on projects of all shapes and sizes and there is not much he cant tackle. When everyone is scratching there head, its usually Denver who brings a eureka moment to save the day. In his spare time Denver can be found working on one of his many engineering projects.

  • As a keen apprentice Max has joined DCMARINE with his sights on a carrier in the marine industry. With a solid work ethic and willingness to learn he quickly becoming a vital member of the team. While studying towards his engineering tickets Max spends time at the speedway or enjoying a beer with his mates.

  • As a qualified carpenter Tai joined DCMARINE to pursue a carrier that blends his skills on the tools with his passion for boating. With previous experience in commercial vessel maintenance he brings a keen energy to the team and knows how to get the job done. As a passionate musician Tai can be found building speakers or playing tunes most other minutes of the day.

  • As the most recent addition to the team - Maita has a natural eye for quality and organization. We all owe him for a spotless workshop and an eagerness to help on all projects. Outside of the work week Maita can be found skating the hills of Lyttelton or enjoying a coffee on the main street.

  • Originally from Quebec, Keven and his partner have sailed here as part of a larger mission to never stop sailing the world. Keven is the epitome of learned through experience and consistently surprises the team in his ability to pick up almost any domain of yacht maintenance and apply his desire for perfection on every job. When not a work Keven is usually at work preparing his yacht for the next adventure or exploring the the great outdoors of New Zealand.
